The free TMS for owner operators

One man and a truck. Two trucks and a cousin who dispatches. That is most of trucking, and it deserves better than $150 a month in software before the first load moves. LoadLoom's Carrier OS gives owner operators the whole system free: loads, dispatch, drivers, fleet map, books, IFTA, compliance. Free because our freight pays for it, not your subscription.

What a one-truck company actually needs

Loads without a subscription toll. Direct freight from our board at 0% platform fees, with the payout, permits intel and a profit score on every offer, computed from YOUR costs, not a black box.

Dispatch on one screen. Which loads need a driver, who is free, one click to assign a driver, a truck and their pay for the run. A morning digest email tells you before you ask.

Your books, including outside work. Invoice your own customers on your letterhead, track who has paid, log fuel per truck, keep IFTA miles by jurisdiction, and settle your driver with a statement that emails itself.

Compliance that watches your back. We recheck your authority nightly and warn you before your insurance certificate expires, so you hear it from us, never from a broker turning you away.

Frequently asked

Is the LoadLoom TMS really free for owner operators?

Yes. LoadLoom is a freight broker: hauling our loads is how we earn, so the software that runs your company costs you nothing. There is no trial clock, no credit card at signup, and the free tier has no time limit. Optional paid plans exist only for extras like unlimited external invoicing.

What does the free TMS include?

The load board with direct freight at zero platform fees, a dispatch board, up to 10 team seats with customizable permissions, a driver seat with hours and pay, a live fleet map using your drivers' own phones, fleet and maintenance tracking, bookkeeping with customer invoicing, IFTA miles worksheets, a bill of lading generator, and a compliance locker that watches your authority and insurance.

Do I need an ELD or tracking hardware for the fleet map?

No. With each driver's consent, their phone shares its position while on duty; you see every truck on one live map with nothing to buy or install. ELD integrations can enrich this later; they are not the price of entry.

How does this compare with paid load boards?

Paid boards charge monthly just to see freight, then sell the TMS, factoring and compliance tools separately. LoadLoom's freight is direct, the TMS is included, QuickPay-eligible loads pay fast without factoring fees, and we watch your own authority and insurance for you at no charge.

I run one van locally and have no DOT number. Can I still join?

Yes, by invitation as a local carrier partner: no DOT or MC number is required for local work; a certificate of insurance is the one requirement we never waive. Call dispatch at 855-434-3477 (press 3) and ask about local carrier onboarding.

Keep the $150 a month. Haul with it instead.
