What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you hold. LoadLoom is operated by ShipVista Corporation from Ontario, Canada and Wyoming, USA. Last updated September 9, 2026.
Quote requests: shipment details such as dimensions, weight, declared value, and pickup and delivery areas; no account is needed.
Bookings: the contact and site details required to execute the shipment, including names, company names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and your electronic signature with its audit record (IP address, timestamp, device data, and intent token) as described in your agreement.
Payments: handled by our payment processors; card numbers never touch our servers, and we retain only the card brand, last four digits, and expiry as the payment record.
Technical data: IP address, browser, and pages visited, to keep the site working and secure.
Contact import (optional): if you choose to import contacts from Google or Microsoft to send friend invitations, the list is delivered directly to your own browser for you to pick from; we never store your address book on our servers, we retain only the addresses you actually choose to invite, and the one-time access token is discarded immediately after the fetch.
To generate quotes, execute and dispatch bookings, process payments, send transactional messages (confirmations, contracts, payment instructions, dispatch and delivery updates), provide support, prevent fraud and defend payment disputes, satisfy tax and transportation record-keeping laws, and improve the platform. Marketing messages are sent only with consent and always carry one-click unsubscribe.
The assigned carrier receives what the move requires: names, site addresses, contacts, and shipment details. Service providers act on our instructions: payment processing (Stripe), mapping and address autocomplete (Google Maps), email delivery, and the analytics and advertising partners listed below. We share records with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information for money.
We use essential cookies for site function, Microsoft Clarity for anonymized usage heatmaps and session recordings, Google Tag Manager, and advertising pixels from Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, TikTok, and Microsoft Advertising that help us measure campaigns and reach relevant audiences. Some of these tools may constitute 'sharing' for cross-context advertising under California law; you can opt out at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, and our Cookie Policy lists every tool with its purpose.
We send transactional shipment texts: load assignment links to drivers whose carrier entered their number with their consent, and status updates to customers with active shipments. Message frequency varies by shipment (typically 2 to 6 messages per load) and message and data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; mobile numbers and opt-in data are never sold. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance. Full details are on our SMS & Text Messaging Policy page at loadloom.com/sms-policy.
Canada (PIPEDA and, for Quebec residents, Law 25): you may access, correct, or withdraw consent to our use of your information, and request deletion subject to legal retention periods. California (CCPA/CPRA): you may know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing, without discrimination for exercising those rights. Visitors from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland hold the equivalent GDPR rights. To exercise any right, email customercare@loadloom.com with the subject 'Privacy request'; we respond within 30 days and verify identity before releasing data.
Booking and contract records are retained as required by tax and transportation regulations, then deleted or anonymized. Quote data without a booking is kept only as long as the quote is valid plus a reasonable operational period. Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to staff who need it, and our payment and signature records are designed for evidentiary integrity, not marketing reuse.
The platform is a business service and is not directed at children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their information. We do not request sensitive personal information beyond what the shipment itself requires.
We operate in both Canada and the United States, and your information may be processed in either country by us or the providers named above, under contractual safeguards. Cross-border shipments necessarily share required data with customs authorities and brokers.
