Plain English, on purpose. These govern our optional plans; effective as posted, last updated September 16, 2026.
These Subscription Terms govern LoadLoom's optional subscription plans: the merchant post-purchase plans (branded tracking and returns pages) and the Carrier OS plans. They sit alongside our
Terms of Use, which govern the platform as a whole; if the two conflict about a subscription, these terms win. Freight services themselves (quotes, bookings, carriage) are never gated by any subscription: you can always get a quote, book a shipment, and haul a load regardless of plan.
You activate a plan from your own account by choosing it and agreeing to these terms; the moment you activate, the plan's features unlock and your billing period begins. Only the account owner can choose, change, or cancel a plan. We record the date and time of your agreement. Some plans may also be offered to you as a personal invitation; an invited plan activates only when you accept it, and never automatically.
The price shown at activation is your price for the entire current period, whether you chose monthly or annual billing, and it never changes mid-period. Promotional prices are honored for as long as the promotion states. Every billing period generates an invoice, and we mean every one: free plans and free periods receive a $0 invoice marked paid, so your records are always complete. Paid invoices are payable by the methods shown on the invoice; a person on our finance team confirms every payment.
Prices are in US dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes, which are your responsibility where they apply and appear as their own line when charged. If we ever bill you in error, tell us and we will correct it promptly, including refunding any amount charged by mistake. We may change a plan's pricing for FUTURE periods, and if we do, you will be told by email before it ever applies to you.
This is our standing promise: nothing renews without an email first. Before any paid plan renews, we email you with the price and the date, in time to change your mind. Beta plans and complimentary plans never auto-renew at all; when they end, they simply end, and you are told before and when it happens.
Our beta plans give you everything in the product, free, for 2 years measured from YOUR OWN activation date, in exchange for using the product and telling us what to improve. Each account may use one self-serve beta period; we may separately invite you, by name, to further complimentary periods, and such an invitation only ever takes effect when you accept it. A beta never converts into a paid plan by itself: at the end of your beta, your account continues on the free tier automatically, and choosing a paid plan is always a fresh, explicit decision that belongs to you.
Every subscription product has a free tier with no time limit and no charge, and your pages and data never break for lack of payment: if a paid plan ends for any reason, the account continues on the free tier with your settings and history intact. Free tiers carry usage allowances (for example, a monthly number of self-managed trackings, returns, or external invoices); the current allowances are always shown on the plan page in your account.
You can cancel any plan any time from your account, in one click, no phone call and no retention flow. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period: you keep everything you paid for until that date, and nothing is charged after it. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time in a period, because you keep the service for the whole period you paid for. Two promises run one way, in your favor: if we discontinue a plan you paid for, we refund the unused remainder of your period pro rata, and if we materially reduce a paid plan's core features mid-period, you may cancel and receive the same pro-rata refund. Ordinary improvements, additions, and fixes are not reductions.
Paid invoices have a grace period of at least ten days. If an invoice remains unpaid after it, the plan's premium features pause and your account continues on the free tier; nothing is deleted, and no page goes dark. You are emailed when this happens and how to fix it, and settling the invoice restores everything. We never charge interest or late fees on subscriptions.
Account credits (promotional, goodwill, or referral value) have no cash value, are non-refundable and non-transferable, and do not expire. A negative credit balance arising from a documented adjustment must be settled before new bookings, as the Terms of Use describe.
Subscription features exist to serve your real business: your pages, your buyers, your fleet, your books. You may not use them to publish unlawful or deceptive content, to impersonate another business, or to send messages to people who have no relationship with you. Pages and emails carry your branding; the underlying service identifies LoadLoom, and unsubscribe links in notification emails always work. We may suspend a subscription feature being abused, with notice and a human to talk to.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you before the change applies, and material changes never rewrite the period you have already paid for. Continuing to use a subscription after notice means the updated terms apply to your next period.
